I was going to write that, straight after Carmilla points out that they're not going to be able to escape, a column collaspes and smashes a hole into one of the walls. Then I realized that they're still on the second floor of the library and they really can't jump down from that height!

Nah, they'll probably go down onto the ground floor, maybe even with Catmilla's help, and then there'll be a hole in the wall due to a collapsed column. And then freedom! Woohoo!
